George Washington Carver Farms will restore abandoned and unsafe land. It will be transformed into a beautiful green landscape that creates space for fresh food, natives, outdoor education, jobs, healing, and justice. It will include an outdoor classroom, a demonstration garden, native garden, event space, and Victory & Peace Park (a meditation/grief garden that will provide space for community healing and justice).
For North St. Louis to be a thriving community with access to quality food, sustainable agriculture, green infrastructure, housing, education, and employment.
Ujima cultivates community through food justice, environmental stewardship, and youth empowerment.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
Please consider donating and sharing our campaign to attend the 10th annual HBCU Climate Change Conference! Your support will help send Ujima staff and The Sunflower Institute Alumni to New Orleans and empower the next generation of environmental justice leaders.
